My name is Cliff Wall. My wife, Christi, and I have seven wonderful children. We are a Christian family; I’m a Methodist pastor. Our life together has been a blend of joy and pain, ups and downs, hardship and miracles, and through it all, faith, hope, and love. The love of God has lifted us from despair and darkness time and time again. On this blog I (and perhaps from time to time Christi and one of the kids) am blessed to share thoughts and reflections on the things of God we have seen and heard. My prayer is that it will be a blessing to my readers, that all may grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Additionally, the title of this blog is a double entendre of sorts. Of course there is reference to our last name, but also to the work of God who is building His people into a holy temple for His own eternal presence, the foundation of which is “the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” (see Ephesians 2:19-22). By the grace and Spirit of God may this blog contribute to the greatest building project in the universe; and may you the reader be built up in faith, hope, and love.  Amen.
